Sila Ulug


Sila earned her BA at Hunter College with Departmental Honors in Art History, English, Sociology, and the Special Honors Curriculum alongside a Minor in Philosophy. She has held summer curatorial posts at the Museum of Modern Art, the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum, the Whitney Museum of American Art, and the Brooklyn Museum, in addition to having interned with the Director’s Office at the Studio Museum in Harlem. As a part of the inaugural cohort for the joint PhD program in Art History and Theater and Performance Studies (TAPS), she intends to explore the role of social and other broadly virtual infrastructures in art practices and spaces.
